I see two other people used the word 'convoluted.' That is the exact word I use any time I mention this season. There are a few good moments, but overall, Moffat's need to try to blow people's minds falls flat and makes many people just not care. I will also, though, agree with the people who commented on 'The Doctor's Wife' being such a good episode (note - written by Neil Gaiman, not Moffat). That is the episode where, after more than a full season of just not feeling it, I finally felt like Matt Smith was the Doctor.

Nice to have adventure in United States with paranoid President Nixon.
Mystery of River Song finally revealed. Yikes.

Loved it! But why must there be such cliffhangers?! Just make sure you either have Part 2 on hold or in your hand when you start Part 1!

The Doctor's Wife is awesome. The whole story arc for the first part of the season is working well.

Rory's Question and the Doctor's Message still give me a thrill when thinking about that scene.

The only good episode is The Doctor's Wife - wow!. The rest of the story arc is so convoluted that it borders on farce! The second half of the season better be able to resolve the inconsistencies logically

The Doctor said "but things happened, and there was stuff and shenanigans. Lovely word 'shenanigans' "
