A perfectly awful reading for a not very good book. The author apparently thinks his readers are stupid and cannot understand concepts after he explains them once. Additionally, the author, reading his own book, adopts a tone of barely suppressed excitement which, again, makes me think he doesn't have a very high opinion of his readers. Third, the author likes straw men: no one who speaks in favor of a low carb diet has ever suggested that someone eat "no carbs" as the author stated in the book. All in all, a truly dreadful production

4 stars! stars wont stick for my rating. never heard about the dopamine/seratonin diet but makes good sense. and great to know what foods boost each of those brain chemicals to maintain a healthy diet and avoid cravings for unhealthy foods, the downfall of all diet plans. Worth a listen and you can print out a 100-page workbook with recipes.

This one was pretty good. I think the fact that he had some experience with the problem himself helps him to see what might help others. He's very scientific but in a down to earth way. I got a lot out of it.
