This is the first book from Melanie Dickerson I read and I really enjoyed it! The characters aren’t boring or irritating and the story line is fun and engaging. I’d recommend this book and I’d say it’s worth reading again:)

This book is a nice story based off the ideas of The Little Mermaid. I really didn't consider it when I saw the cover, even though the Red hair and the Title should have given me enough information. I was a little emotionally concerned when reading about her vulnerability and Wesley's protective sides. The whole portrayal of her being weaker and needing protection was kind of futile, since she basically escaped a castle and a creep with little help. In general, the spinoff was well written and very different from anything I could imagine. 5/5 Stars
