I have no idea how I stumbled upon this book but I am very glad that I did. I loved the vampire twist that Harvey put on snow white and the seven dwarves with Solange and her brothers. I also loved the unique take on the overdone vampire plot, it wasn't as weird or cliche as Twilight but it was still really interesting. Or maybe it was overly cliche and that's what I loved about it. All in all, I loved the dynamics between the characters, especially Solange and Lucy's friendship, it just seems so relatable and unbelievable at the same time.

You know those books that aren't the most interesting books you have ever read, but for some reason, you just can't put it down? Well, this is one of those books.
In the beginning, I was reluctant to read this book beacuse there weren't that many ratings, so there was a chance that people didn't like this book, or they haven't found out about it yet. I found out that it was just because it wasn't that popular.
On the back of the book, it said 'For fans of Stephenie Meyer...' and it's true. I didn't really like Twilight, although my opinion of it may have been affected by other people's opinions, but I could see Twilight fans enjoying it.
This book also has no werewolves, but it has two romances (...if that makes sense...), which is awesome because i really dislike love triangles (unless they are wonderfully written).
This was a great read that I would recommend to all those vampire lovers out there!
Omg I have only read the first 2 books of this series but they are amazing I have the other 3 on hold and cant wait to read them!!!!!!
I was glad that every thing worked out for Solange and Nicholas with Kieran and Lucy :) I think they make cute couples.
this book had my eyes glued on the pages throught the whole book!!! read it if u havent!!!
This book was amazing!! I was practically glued to this one. It opened up another world of vampires and it makes this book unique. I loved it!!
I love this book , I could not put it down and I am not a teen Im 47 and this storry was so good it just pulls you in .Lucy is a wonderful character but all the characters are writen about so well you can see the story unfold in your head it made me want me ...Thank you
Alyxandra Harvey .
This book was really good. Lucy was my favourite character, but Solonge wasn't ad in anyway. I relate better to Lucy, punched a few people who have annoyed me too much also. :)
I loved this book! Lucy is my favourite character even though the book is shared with Solonge. I am reading the whole series and it is just plain mind blowing!you will love this book if you are the type for a comedy and open character, the Lucy and this book is for you!
I hated this book. So cliched and nothing to redeem it. It wasn't as funny as it tried to be, it wasn't well-written enough to carry the cliches. Stephenie Meyer's Twilight had more depth.
this book was good - thought it was gonna turn into a great series- but the 2nd and 3rd books ruined it for me.... maybe its because i've read hundreds of books with a supernatural storyline but i think that harvey should have left the main characters as lucy, solange, and their boyfriends and extended the story from there and then i could compare it to the morgansville vamp series by rachel caine, which happens 2 be one of my fave series, but its hard to follow any kind of story liine since each book focuses on different characters.....Kresley cole's immortals after dark series concentrates on different characters every book as well and i love her books so its not that aspect that makes it bad; i believe its the lack of writing skills as an author that makes this series not so good.... when it comes to authors harvey is definitely lacking compared to a lot of authors that i've personally read books by and i really don't believe i would consider her or her story better than the twilight series or its author.
ren23 ~ ya totally agree! i read it with my bff 2! ;) Lucy is soooo funny! shes my favorite character! my friend says i remind her of lucy. thats weird because she reminds me of Solange. this book rocks! move over twilight! :D
Devangi~i loved this whole series. i've read all the books that are currently out over and over again with my bff. Btw, devangi, u remind me of Lucy!
who needs Twilight now? ;)
I enjoyed reading hearts and stake, it had the right amount of action and romance in the same book. This was an exciting, adventurous novel. I couldn’t put it down once I started to reading it. This novel is different from other vampire novels but I love this book becasue of all the vampires and point of views. I even want to my city library to read the second book in the series!
I actually excpercted this book to be very cliche and was suprised to find it a lot different. The second one is a dissapointment but the third one lives up to the first
I enjoyed reading hearts and stake, it had the right about ot action and romance in the same book.
This was an exciting, adventurous novel. I couldn’t stop reading it once I started to read. This novel is different from other vampire novels.
Most of the girls have liked this book so far. A little bit like Twilight, but the writing is better.
There was nothing wrong with this book, if you are into the whole vampire love thing, not that there is anything wrong with that. I'm more into the horror, factual types so I personally didn't enjoy it as much as my type of books. Good read though and overall not as bad as I thought.
I know it's unfair to judge a book by its cover ... or title; but I couldn't help it in this case. I am not part of this vampire-crazed phase sweeping the world, so this book was definitely not down my alley. The story was alright, but it was so simple to predict what would pass in the plot. In the end, the book concluded as I thought it would: just like every other vampire novel.
Another idiotic vampire novel that rots teen literature and continues to defy intellegence. I'd like to see something on the bookshelves that doesn't require an ignorant human falling in love with a "hott" vampire. I wasn't amused and the plot was shallow and needless.
From the beginning of the book, it was so far so good. I am not that far into the book so I can not relate and/or talk about any of the characters but this book is kinda confusing from the parts that i've read. I bet once I read more and more into it I will be able to relate to it more and understand it.
